My Story

How it started.

My name is Desmond Willoughby. Back in fall 2014 a friend of mine had converted to Islam. He called me up and invited me to meet up with him at mid-town Manhattan NY to the “bead shop." I had no idea what he was talking about, so I asked him, "What is a bead shop"? He simply said, "Trust me. Just meet me at this address." So I did.

He took me to one of the largest gemstone beads and supply store in the city. I was awestruck! I was instantly fascinated with the variations of gemstones, charms and supplies.

He showed me how he makes prayer beads, and gave me a quick crash course.  Ever since then I’ve taken that hobby and made it into a business and have not looked back since!
